HBCHRC Contractual Posts Recruitment 2025 Vacancy Details 

Eligibility Criteria

For MTS:

• Educational Qualifications: SSC / 10th passed.
• Experience: Relevant experience in cleaning, sweeping, mopping, cleaning of drainage, toilets, window glass panels/glass partitions, disposal of garbage, shifting of equipment/furniture and any other work assigned. Preference will be given to candidates having 1 year experience of housekeeping.

For Scientific Assistant (Cancer Cytogenetic):

• Educational Qualifications: B.Sc. (Biochemistry/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology/Life Sciences) with 50% marks and degree or diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from Government Recognised Institute (DMLT) with 01 year experience in Medical Laboratory. OR B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology with 50% marks with 2 years experience in medical laboratory.
• Essential Experience: Minimum 6 months experience/training in Cancer Cytogenetic or minimum 6 months experience in genetic laboratory services.
• Preference: Candidates having experience in Cancer Cytogenetic Laboratory.

Salary/Stipend

• For MTS: Rs. 17530/-
• For Scientific Assistant (Cancer Cytogenetic): Rs. 25000/- to 30000/-

Age Limit (as on Date of Walk-in Interview)

• Minimum Age: Not specified (typically 18 years)
• Maximum Age: Up to 30 years for both posts
• Relaxation: Upper age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per Government of India instructions

Selection Process

• Selection will be through Walk-in Interview at H.R.D Dept, Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, New Chandigarh, Medicity, Mohali, Punjab. In case of more candidates, MCQ test/Skill Test will be conducted, and eligible candidates will be shortlisted for the interview. The institute reserves the right to fix minimum eligibility standards, restrict the number of candidates, and relax norms for deserving candidates with relevant experience. Mere fulfillment of qualifications does not entitle a candidate to be called for the interview.
