Eligibility Criteria

• Essential qualifications: Post Graduation in Biomedical Sciences (Life Sciences/Chemical Sciences/Physical Sciences/Social Sciences/Biostatistics) and having a NET Certificate with eligible validity period
• Essential: NET qualified candidates belonging to Schedule Castes/Schedule Tribes/OBC (NCL), Physically Handicapped (lower locomotor disability only) and female applicants

Salary/Stipend

• JRF: Rs. 37,000 + HRA per month
• SRF (after 2-3 years): Rs. 42,000 + HRA per month
• House Rent Allowance as per rules
• Contingency of Rs. 20,000/- to the University/Institution (likely to increase as per DST norms, if approved)
• In addition, the fellow may submit a project proposal to obtain one-time Research Contingency Grant-in-Aid up to Rs. 01.00 lakh within 3 months of joining the fellowship

• Upper Age Limit: 28 years as on the date of issue of advertisement in the Employment News
• Relaxable up to 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (NCL), Physically Handicapped (lower locomotor disability only) and female applicants
