CSIR-NEERI Project Associate Recruitment 2026 Overview

Eligibility Criteria

• Essential Qualification: B.Tech. in Biotechnology OR M.Sc. in Chemistry from a recognized University

Salary / Stipend

• (a) Rs. 31,000/- + HRA for those candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR NET lectureship / Assistant professorship or GATE OR Those who have qualified National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments like DBT/DST or equivalent and / or their Agencies / Institutions.
• (b) Rs. 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (a) above

Age Limit (as on 06 January 2026)

• Upper Age Limit: 35 years

• The above positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the aforementioned projects.
• Candidates are not required to pay any application fees.
• Only those candidates who have acquired the essential qualification & result has been declared (should have at least provisional certificate) are eligible to apply.
• No TA will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the interview.

• Place of Interview: CSIR-NEERI, CSIR Madras Complex, Taramani, Chennai

• Interested and eligible candidates may appear for Walk-in-Interview on 06 January 2026 at CSIR-NEERI, CSIR Madras Complex, Taramani, Chennai.
• Reporting time: 9:30 am to 11:00 am (Gate will be closed by 11:00 am).
• Candidates shall bring a passport-size photo, Aadhaar card, 10th (SSC), 12th (HSC), Graduate Marksheets, Degree, Postgraduate mark sheets, and Degree (one set photocopy and original) along with filled application form attached with this advertisement.
