IDBI Bank JAM Grade O Eligibility Criteria 2026

Nationality / Citizenship

Candidate must be: a citizen of India OR a subject of Nepal/Bhutan OR a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 01 January 1962 OR a person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries, subject to a Government of India eligibility certificate where applicable.​

Educational Qualification (as on 01 March 2026)

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a University recognized/approved by Government / Govt. bodies (AICTE, UGC, etc.).​

• Minimum 60% marks for General/EWS/OBC and 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.​

• Only a diploma is not acceptable; candidates must possess a full degree.​

• Candidate must have valid semester-wise or consolidated mark sheets and degree/provisional degree certificate dated on or before 01 March 2026.​

• Candidates are expected to have proficiency in computers/IT.​

Age Limit 2026 (as on 01 March 2026)

• Minimum age: 20 years.​

• Maximum age: 25 years.​

• Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02 March 2001 and not later than 01 March 2006 (both dates inclusive).​

Age Relaxation 2026

• SC/ST: up to 5 years.​

• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): up to 3 years.​

• Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): up to 10 years.​

• Ex-Servicemen / ECOs / SSCOs with at least 5 years military service and released on eligible terms: up to 5 years.​

• Persons affected by 1984 riots: up to 5 years.​

Language Proficiency & Domicile

• Candidate must be proficient (reading, writing and understanding) in at least one of the languages specified for the chosen zone.​

• Candidate must furnish a valid self-domicile certificate for the state of the applied zone or Class X/XII mark sheet/certificate showing knowledge of the indicated language.

IDBI Bank JAM Grade O Salary 2026

• On joining as Grade “O”, the compensation on Cost to Company (CTC) basis is expected to range between ₹6.14 lakh to ₹6.50 lakh per annum (for Class A cities) at the time of joining.
• Selected candidates will be covered under IDBI Bank Ltd. New Pension Scheme (IBLNPS) rules, 2011, as amended from time to time.
• Career progression: Grade “O” officers may be considered for promotion to Grade “A” after completion of 3 years of service, subject to performance, vacancies and applicable promotion policy.

Step-by-step Application Process

1. Visit the IDBI Bank careers page: https://www.idbi.bank.in/idbi-bank-careers-current-openings.aspx.
2. Click on “Recruitment of Junior Assistant Manager (JAM) Grade ‘O’ – Regional: 2026–27” and then select “Apply Online”.
3. Click on “Click here for New Registration”, enter basic details (name, contact, email) and obtain Provisional Registration Number and Password.
4. Log in with the registration details and fill the online application form with personal, educational, category and zone choice details (only one zone can be selected).
5. Upload scanned copies of:
