A total of 30 vacancies have been announced across 4 sports disciplines – Cricket, Kabaddi, Table Tennis, and Football – spread across posting locations in Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai. Out of 30 posts, 24 are for Male candidates and 6 for Female candidates.

Each vacancy carries a specific role/specialisation requirement (e.g., Batsman, Fast Bowler, Goalkeeper, Midfielder, etc.), and candidates must ensure they apply only for the role matching their sports specialisation. The Bank reserves the right to modify the number of vacancies and their breakup as per its requirement. There is no reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories in this recruitment.

Eligibility Criteria: Customer Service Associate (30 Posts)

*Relaxation in upper age limit up to a maximum of five years to sportspersons considered meritorious, as per DOPT, Govt of India O.M. No. DOPT-1720781414772 dated 04.03.2020. Ten years relaxation in the case of SC/ST sportspersons.

The minimum age to apply is 20 years and the maximum age is 28 years for General/EWS category candidates, calculated as on the cut-off date of 01.04.2026. 

*This concession will be available only to those meritorious sportspersons who satisfy all other eligibility criteria and furnish a certificate in the form and from an authority prescribed as per the guidelines issued by the Government from time to time.

Bank of Baroda Sportspersons Recruitment 2026 Application Fee

The application fee is non-refundable and must be paid online at the time of registration regardless of whether the candidate is shortlisted for Field Trials or not. General, EWS, and OBC candidates are required to pay ₹850/- (inclusive of GST) plus applicable payment gateway charges. SC, ST, ESM/DESM (Ex-Servicemen/Disabled Ex-Servicemen), and Women candidates are required to pay ₹175/- (intimation charges only, inclusive of GST) plus applicable payment gateway charges.

Payment can be made through Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or any other available online payment mode. Transaction charges, if any, are to be borne by the candidate. Once fee payment is completed successfully, an e-receipt and application form will be generated, which should be printed and retained. The Bank will not entertain any refund requests under any circumstances.

Bank of Baroda Sportspersons Recruitment 2026 Pay Scale & Benefits

Selected candidates will be placed in the clerical cadre pay scale as applicable to Customer Service Associates in Bank of Baroda. The starting basic pay is ₹24,050/- per month and the scale progresses through multiple incremental stages over a period of 20 years, reaching up to ₹64,480/-. Increments are applied at different rates at various stages of the pay scale as detailed below. 

Bank of Baroda Sportspersons Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The selection process consists of two main stages: Shortlisting/Screening of applications followed by Field Trials for shortlisted candidates. In the first stage, applications will be screened against the eligibility criteria including educational qualifications, relevant sports experience, domain expertise, and suitability. Meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not automatically entitle a candidate to be called for Field Trials – the Bank may call candidates in a ratio as deemed appropriate at its sole discretion. The shortlisting criteria are internal and confidential and will not be shared with candidates.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for Field Trials at a designated venue, the evaluation criteria and qualifying cut-off for which will be determined solely by the Bank. No requests for change of centre, venue, date, or time for Field Trials will be entertained. The Bank’s decision on shortlisting and selection at all stages is final and binding. Selected candidates must be Active Sportspersons at the time of joining and fit enough to participate in future tournaments. All selected sportspersons will be required to sign a written undertaking to play for the Bank’s team whenever required.

The application process is entirely online – no other mode of application will be accepted. Candidates must visit the Bank’s official website www.bankofbaroda.bank.in and apply through the Careers → Current Opportunities section. Before starting the application, candidates must ensure they have a valid personal email ID and active mobile number, a scanned passport-size photograph (20–50 KB, JPG format), a scanned signature in black ink on white paper (10–20 KB, JPG format), and scanned PDF copies of all required documents within the specified file sizes (maximum 500 KB per file).

Candidates are advised to fill the application with utmost care as no changes will be permitted after clicking the SUBMIT button. All details including name, caste, category, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID will be treated as final. Candidates must not submit more than one application; in case of multiple submissions, only the last valid completed application will be retained and fees for earlier applications will be forfeited. A printout of the system-generated application form and e-receipt should be retained for future reference.

Important Instructions for Candidates

Candidates must read the full official notification carefully before filling the application. All eligibility criteria are to be met as on the cut-off date of 01.04.2026. Change of category is not permitted at any stage after submission of the online application. Candidates should not furnish false, fabricated, or tampered information at any stage – doing so will result in disqualification or termination even after joining. Any canvassing or creating undue influence will lead to disqualification. All legal proceedings arising from this recruitment can only be instituted at courts in Mumbai. Signatures must remain consistent across all documents and correspondence throughout the recruitment process. Selected candidates will be governed by the Bank’s service conditions including provisions related to probation (6 months), confirmation, disciplinary rules, and execution of service bonds. Candidates with adverse credit history, criminal cases, or adverse reports from CIBIL or other credit agencies will be ineligible. The Bank reserves the right to reject, modify, increase/decrease vacancies, or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
