Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

• Senior Resident: PG Degree or Diploma/DNB in concerned specialty from a recognized university; candidates with MBBS degree with 2 years experience in concerned specialty may also apply; candidate should have valid registration from MCI/State Medical Council.
• Specialists: PG Degree or equivalent with 3 years post-PG experience OR PG Diploma with 5 years post-PG experience in respective specialty from a recognized university with valid MCI/State Medical Council registration.

2. Age Limit

• Senior Resident: Upper age limit 45 years for 3 years engagement.
• Specialists: Age not exceeding 67 years as on the date of interview.
• Age Relaxation: Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS as per rules; cut-off date for age and qualification is the date of interview.

3. Nationality & Reservation

SC, ST, OBC and EWS candidates must produce relevant reservation certificates in the prescribed proforma as per Government of India guidelines; nationality is implicitly as per ESIC/Government rules mentioned in the notification.

 

Selection Process

• Selection will be done through walk-in interview conducted by ESIC Hospital Bikaner on the notified date.
• Candidates must obtain a minimum of 50% marks in the interview for selection.
• Selection is subject to production of medical fitness certificate and verification of original documents; decision of the selection board will be final.

Application Fee

The notification does not mention any application fee for attending the walk-in interview; candidates are required to bring application form and documents only.

 

Salary/Stipend

• Senior Resident (3 years): Emoluments as per 7th CPC Level 11.
• Specialists: Rs. 1,21,408/- per month as consolidated remuneration.
• Selected candidates will be entitled to leave as per ESIC/Central Government rules, including earned leave on pro-rata basis and Sunday off; no PF, pension, gratuity or other service benefits are admissible.

How To Apply

The eligible candidates must report for walk-in interview with duly filled application in prescribed pro-forma (Annexure-A) on the scheduled date and time.

 

1. Download and fill the application form (Annexure-A) completely in all respects.
2. Appear in person for walk-in interview at Conference Hall, ESIC Hospital, Jaisalmer Road, Bikaner, Rajasthan on 15/12/2025.
3. Report for document submission between 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM; candidates reporting after 11:00 AM will not be considered for interview.
4. Bring two recent passport size photographs along with one set of self-attested photocopies and originals of required testimonials (DOB proof, SSC, qualification certificates and mark sheets, MBBS and PG certificates, caste/category certificate, Aadhaar, PAN, experience certificate, MCI/State registration, NOC from employer if applicable).
5. Submit security deposit as per terms if selected and complete agreement formalities before joining.

Instructions

• The engagement for Specialists and Senior Residents is purely contractual; no claim for regularization or service benefits like PF, pension, seniority or promotion will be entertained.
• Private practice is not allowed, and services can be terminated by either side as per notice conditions; absence for 15 days without permission will be treated as voluntary abandonment.
• Selected candidates must submit security deposit (Rs. 25,000 for Specialists and specified amount for certain SR engagements) and professional indemnity policy as per guidelines.
• No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview or joining the post; hostel accommodation/quarters will not be provided to Senior Residents on contract.
• Candidates must follow ESIC rules, perform duties including emergency and call duties as assigned, and report on or before the date mentioned in the offer of appointment.
