The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the UPSC CDS (II) 2025 final result along with detailed marks for candidates recommended to the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA), and Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai. The result follows the written examination and the SSB interview process conducted by the Services Selection Board under the Ministry of Defence. How to Check UPSC CDS 2 2025 Result

  1. Visit the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.
  2. Click on the “Written Results” section under the “Examinations” tab.
  3. Select “Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2025 – Final Result.”
  4. Open the PDF file for your respective academy (IMA, INA, Air Force, or OTA).
  5. Use Ctrl+F (or Cmd+F on Mac) to search your roll number or name.
  6. Download and save the PDF for future reference, such as document verification.

Academy-Wise Number of Recommended Candidates

The final result PDF lists the following number of candidates for each academy, based on written marks and SSB scores. Note that some candidates appear in more than one list, since candidates can qualify for multiple academies through the same written exam.

Jasnoor Singh (Roll No. 3503411) is the only candidate to feature at rank 1 in two academy lists – Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy – with a final total of 318.73 marks in both.

Marks Pattern Used for Final Result

  • IMA, INA, Air Force: Written Exam (300 marks) + SSB Interview (300 marks) = Total 600 marks
  • Officers Training Academy (Men and Women): Written Exam (200 marks) + SSB Interview (200 marks) = Total 400 marks

The final merit is prepared by combining written examination marks with SSB interview marks. Marks obtained in the medical examination are not factored into the merit list.

Documents Required for Verification

Candidates whose names appear in the final result should keep the following documents ready for the joining and verification process, as intimated by their respective academy:

  • Original Date of Birth certificate (10th class certificate or equivalent)
  • Educational qualification certificates and mark sheets
  • Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS), if applicable
  • NCC certificate, if applying under NCC Special Entry
  • Medical fitness documents as prescribed by the academy
  • Recent passport-size photographs
  • Valid photo identity proof
