Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) has released an official notification for the recruitment of ITI and Vocational Posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply Offline through the official HAL website. The last date to submit the application form is 30-01-2026. HAL ITI and Vocational (10+2) Apprentices Recruitment 2026 Overview

Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualification (ITI Trades): Passed 10th class or equivalent + passed prescribed regular full-time ITI training (1 or 2 years as per trade) under NCVT or SCVT in years 2023, 2024 or 2025. Must possess pass certificate on date of application. Appearing / Result awaited / Back paper / Supplementary result awaited candidates not eligible.
  • Qualification (Vocational Trades): Passed Intermediate (12th) examination in years 2023, 2024 or 2025 with concerned Vocational Trade subject.
  • Candidates pursuing or having completed Apprenticeship Training under Apprenticeship Act not eligible.
  • Students of COE (Centre of Excellence) Course not eligible.
  • Only Indian Nationals eligible.

Salary/ Stipend

  • Stipend will be payable to ITI Trade / Vocational Apprentices as per Apprenticeship Act 1961.

Age Limit (as on 31 January 2026)

  • Minimum age: 18 years
  • Maximum age: 27 years
  • Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD candidates in respective category.

Important Dates

Selection Process

  • Selection will be based on Merit.
  • Merit finalized with 70% weightage to percentage obtained in High School and 30% weightage to percentage obtained in ITI (or Vocational subject as applicable).
  • In case of CGPA result, equivalent percentage (correct to two decimal places) as per certified conversion formula of the board/council shall be used. Approximation not allowed (e.g., 86.45 will not be considered 86.50).

General Information / Instructions

  • Reservation for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS/PWD/HAL Employee ward as per Apprenticeship Act 1961, Government of India and HAL guidelines.
  • EWS certificate not older than 1 year as on 31/03/2026 (issued on/after 01/04/2025). OBC(NCL) certificate not older than 3 years as on 31/03/2026 (issued on/after 01/04/2023).
  • Dependents of HAL employees (working/retired/deceased) to submit application through HR Department of HAL.
  • For ITI Trades: Must be registered on apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and possess valid registration number.
  • For Vocational Trades: Must be registered with Regional Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (RDSDE), Kanpur-208022.
  • Duration of training: One year.
  • Applications accepted only by Post/Courier (Normal or Speed Post).
  • No TA/DA for appearing in selection process.
  • HAL reserves right to cancel advertisement/selection process at any stage. HAL decision final and binding.
  • Mere submission of application does not confer right to participate in selection. Eligibility decision of HAL Kanpur final.
  • Provisional selected candidates intimated by Post.
  • Selected candidates to submit Character Certificate (issued by SP/SSP) and Medical Certificate (issued by CMO) as per domicile address.
  • Suppression of facts/false information leads to cancellation at any stage.
  • Candidature may be cancelled if found ineligible at any stage or during training for misconduct/unsatisfactory performance.

How to Apply

  • Download application form (Form-A for ITI Trades only OR Form-B for Vocational Trades only – do not fill both).
  • Fill complete and correct information.
  • Attach all required self-attested documents (High School marks/certificate, ITI/Intermediate marks/certificate, NTC, Apprenticeship portal registration copy (ITI), Aadhaar & PAN, Domicile certificate issued after 01/01/2023, Caste/EWS/PWD certificate as applicable).
  • Send filled application along with enclosures by Normal Post, Speed Post or Courier only to: The Chief Manager, Technical Training Institute, Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd., Transport Aircraft Division, Post office- Chakeri, District- Kanpur Nagar, Pincode- 208008.
  • Applications by any other mode not accepted.
