What is National Defence Academy exam?
National Defence Academy or NDA is the qualifying exam to join Indian Army. The Union Public Service Commission conducts UPSC NDA exams twice a year.
NDA Nationality
An aspirant should be an unmarried male/female and must be:
- a citizen of India or
- a subject of Nepal, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and the East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam, intending to settle in India permanently.
